First, you need to know something about Polka Dot Radio: I run this station as a hobby. I truly enjoy it, and hope to keep it up for some time, but I am a wife, mother of two and a business-owner before I am a DJ.

I don't have a regular procedure for screening music on a daily, weekly, or even monthly basis. Instead, I find a day when I have a few hours and am in the mood, and I start checking out my MySpace friends, listening to their music and seeing if there's any I'd like to play. I also take a closer listen to CD's or mp3 links that may have been sent to me (please don't email me full mp3's - send a link to where they are stored online). This could happen every few weeks, or it could be months in between.

All this to say - go ahead and contact me with your information. I will check it out, but it could be a long time before you hear from me. (If I do decide I'd like to play your music, you will hear from me.)

If you have a MySpace page, please add me as a friend. I prefer to handle most artist contact that way - it helps keep the spam out of my email inbox to some degree.
